No More Room for Saturday

Believe it or not, it's already time again for us to get target
practice on the ever elusive turtle dove. For the last three years,
we have had good luck in AR because a farmer friend of mine really
loves helping friends and their families enjoy a great day in the
dove field. It's no accident that we've done well, because he does
everything in his power to persuade the doves to show up in force.

Our hunt has grown from leasing 20 acres to 40 acres, and now 80 acres of cut milo. This year's dove hunt will be similar to last
year's, where we all meet for coffee and a light breakfast @ 5 AM and
leave @ 5:45 for the field which is about 5 minutes away. The same
rules will apply. Children under 15 are free, and everyone else pays
$100 and is welcome to hunt all three days.

This invitation is being sent out first to Three Rivers members and
friends of the club first. If the hunt doesn't fill in a week, I'll
extend the invitation to others, but I'd rather have the whole spot
to ourselves. RSVP back to me with how many spots you would like to
reserve with the names of your guests. When you reply with your
spots, remember they are reserved and you owe $100/head unless I have
notice by 8/23/07. We've got a lot of logistics to consider, so
please respond ASAP.

When you arrive at the hunt (directions attached), be sure to get in
a neat line on the road so that we can all depart with no hassle.
