Yes, it was frozen, right now it is frozen, and tomorrow it will be frozen. But if you break open a whole while the temperature is above freezing, then it will most likely remain open. My father-in-law did it this afternoon and had a great hunt.

You know, I'm not sure if there is like any "real" scientific proof, but I'll bet you'll have a better chance at shooting a duck at Three Rivers than you will at your home or workplace. At least that's how it's been working for me.
