I Feel the Need to Bog

I'm sorry fellow Three Riverians, but we are careening toward the dead end of yet another great duck season, and I haven't gotten everything out of my system.

First of all,let me compliment Donnie and Teresa Pettinger(spelling?)for opening Past Times, the new bar and grille on court square in Harrisburg. Only one mile from the HorseBarn, smack dab in the middle of greater Harrisburg. A great addition to our club.

Second, compliments to Hunter, Moo, Grover, and other powers behind the throne. A great season, that began with very serious possibilities of disaster. Remember when there was NO WATER??? Things looked dire. They turned out well.

Third, to Grover, for staying on us like a damn road boss to get those 6,000 decoys done before the season started. At first I was upset about the blisters on all my fingers, but now I realize that I have no finger prints any more, so I am already planning my crime spree immediately after hunting season.

Fourth, thanks to my friend Randy, because without him and all the dumb things he does, I wouldn't have half as much to blog about.

Fifth, (Danger Will Robinson) I'm proud and happy to announce that hopefully the club will be adding another lawyer of worldwide renown to its membership roster next year, if there is an opening. A guest that Randy and I brought over loved it so much he has already signed up. Just what we need....another lawyer.

Sixth, here's to all of us, and Opening Day, 2011.
