Farm update for the final weekend
In general, plenty of water, not many ducks lately, but wind has been howling all day and temps have drops, but not to freezing temps(thank Goodness). Let's finish out strong with good turnout, good fellowship, jokes and hopefully ducks.
Blinds that have issues: Shop and East rayburn aren't flooded bc the flood eroded the water holding pipe more than once and we couldn't repair pipe due to acts of God. We've worked hard to get the rest of the farm back to huntable status including relifting water off of South farm to get pits hunt able. All pits have been pumped out and ready to hunt. There are still decoys that are spread out after the flood, so plan on getting to blinds early enough to gather around pits/hunting areas(recommend doing the night before your hunt).
Good luck boys and great seeing everyone and their guests at the club even though hunting has been tough the last few weeks.
Hope to see a lot out kids out for the youth hunt next weekend and then would appreciate help picking up decoys while the farm is still flooded and decoys will be clean for next season. Get with me if you can help for the plan.
Thanks-Hunter
