Remembering Larry

Larry was a man that I feel blessed to have known... he was a man's man, a true friend, and a wise advisor who taught me a lot. He was always gracious, kind and generous to me and my whole family.
There were a lot of things about Larry I admired, and here are just a few:

Passing of the Godfather

Around lunch, Sunday March 11, 2012 Larry finally passed. Most pancreatic cancer patients live less than 6 months, but he fought for 14 months. He did so we could enjoy him longer and we did. I've never met a 60+ year old man that natuarally built wisdom into the younger generation like he did. He touched many folks lives with honest wisdom and "nothing in it for him" care. more »

The Expanding Den!

Good news everybody!

Since you last saw The Den, it has undergone some significant expansion!

We've added a 6-seat hot tub outside the mud room. It runs at 104 with lots of bubbles. Great for easing that "I'm getting old..." feeling after a long day in the field. more »

Farm work any weekend

If anyone is itchin to get out of the house this weekend, come on over. Text me with your schedule and well have fun closin down summerizing the farm. Hunting Snow Geese at 3RiversDuckClub!!!

Hey Fellow Duck Hunters, Just wanted to let you all know that I took Four guys over to hunt the geese. We stayed at the Den and arrive on Thursday afternoon to hunt for two days. Hunter and the crew had to move the spread if you have ever hunted Geese you have to go to where they are this year has been a challenge because of the weather.
