One last attempt.....Nacho is on his way!

I have tried everything this year. I have hunted in wind, rain and snow. Ice, clouds and sun. By myself, with others. With the dog, without the dog. With the gay camera man, with my yankee buddies. Nothing has worked. I head over and it floods, it freezes, the ducks scatter or they ask for permission to climb to 20,000 feet. Loud calling, soft calling. more »

How's the action?

I am coming in tomorrow and curious if the ducks are still around. How has the hunting been the last few days? I have to warn you, I head toward Harrisburg and the ducks flee, flood waters rise and then freeze!

Weekend Report

Not to much to report. Rusty and I hunted with a guest and with Rick this weekend. The ice has settled in for the immediate future as of this morning. Couldn't post anything from the Iphone this weekend, but back home now. Here is an update from what I looked at. Pits in section 2 that I know are huntable are North Bridge, South Roberts, and Section 2. more »

Airstrip Friday

I grabbed airstrip on the free ranger for tomorrow but won't be hunting til about one o'clock, so anyone that wants it in the morning is welcome to it.

GPS Kit waypoints for iphone users

After a little research and 10 bucks, I have an app for the iphone called "GPS kit". Not sure if I bought the right or best one, but it works. I loaded all the GPS coordinates that were on the site for the pits and clubhouses. If you have an iphone and pick up this app, you can download the waypoints from my phone as I have them shared. more »
