LOTS OF WATER, huntable pits?

Just making sure everyone has gotten the message about the GREAT FLOOD OF 09 in Poinsett Co. Really, its hard to appreciate without being there. So, you want to go hunting? It can be done as the hunt log posts of the last 2 days attest, but prepare yourself for some pumping or bailing, then rounding up decoys. Not trying to discourage anyone here, just give real time info.

Section 2 I would say is out of the question as the pits are not even pumpable at the moment. This will change day to day though (water is falling fast) so Monday's conditions will be very different from what I observed Sunday.

Several Claypool farm pits were hunted saturday and sunday by those who either pumped or bailed the pit prior to the hunt. Kudos to Matt Lane, Mike Moore, Louis Burgess, Addison, and George Washington for their tenacity in this department. KUDOS TO MATT LANE ERASING THE GOOSE EGG FROM BERGER in the hunt log. Huntable pits as of sunday are Lost, Berger, Claypool, Airstrip, and Goose Pit (Claypool's will need more bailing as those who hunted it stated water still coming in a low corner after being bailed).
