72 Ducks in 4.5 hours!

What a great opener for us. We managed to kill 72 ducks and 2 geese in just over 4.5 hrs of hunting. We started Saturday on Yankee, and then Sunday at North Roberts. Best part? Out of all those ducks only 4 Spoonies...LOL, Bad Part? Only 3 Mallards. It was a Teal bonanza... more than half of our take was the "ever so speedy" Green Wing Teal, and he alone accounted for the nearly two cases of shells shot between 6 guys. Word to the wise, buy some Winchester stock !!!

We also killed Gadwalls, Pintails, Widgeons and one Bluebill. We learned the trick to getting those high flyers was for all 6 guys to hammer down on the duck calls. It seemed to get there attention.
